- GMO (Genetically modified organism)
: Organism created by genetics manipulation where man inserted genes from another plant or living organism.


- Organic
: Cultural methods that eliminates chemicals fertilizers as well as pesticides and herbicides. Growers and distributors has to be certified and regularly audited by selected certification organisation. (OCIA, Ecocert etc...)


- Natto
: Natto is a traditional japanese meal made from a very small size type of soybean. It is prepared by soaking the soybeans and by coking it with steam. It is than fermented for a short period of time using the Bascillus natto bacteria.


- Automation system
: Computerized control system in which all machines and equipment are monitored. This system allows a continuous flow of production by reducing downtime due to mechanical failure.


- Cleaning and screening
: Procedures and methods in place to clean, size and sreen the soybeans.


- Genetic Identity
: Any test used to determine if the soybeans are non-GMO.
